Brenda, RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Graduated from St. Clair College (Windsor) dental hygiene program in 1997. Brenda worked for Dr. Mathany's dental office for 15 years until her mobile business required her full time.
Over the course of her career, Brenda has been involved on a provincial level (Ambassador for the ODHA-Ontario Dental Hygienists Association), as well as a local level (President of the SLDHS-Sarnia Lambton Dental Hygienists Society). Brenda provides oral health education to ECE (Early Childhood Education) and PSW (Personal Support Worker) students at Lambton College. Brenda educates the staff at the LTC homes to ensure they are knowledgeable in the oral health needs of the residents.
Brenda started her mobile practice to help clients who could not access dental hygiene care in the traditional dental office settings. She watched family members' oral health deteriorate while in long term care homes and wanted to make a difference.
In 2008, Brenda started providing mobile dental hygiene services to clients in long term care homes and group homes. In 2014 she started offering dental hygiene care to clients at Bluewater Health on the Continuing Care and Palliative units.

Brenda feels blessed to have the opportunity to assist clients with their oral health needs and to listen to the amazing stories they share with her. The relationships she has developed with her clients and families make her work rewarding.
In 2021, Brenda won the Creating Opportunity for an Inclusive Community award from the City of Sarnia for providing community leadership in inclusive programming for people with disabilities.
